Tunde Onakoya, the Nigerian chess champion and Convener of Chess In Slums Africa has broken the Guinness World Record (GWR) for the longest chess marathon.
The Nigerian accomplished the record in the early long periods of Saturday in the wake of outperforming the 56-hour mark.
Hallvard Haug Flatebø and Sjur Ferkingstad, two Norwegians are the past record holders who set a record at 56 hours of playtime back in November 2018.
